Siraj Singh and The Londoner
In honour of International Women’s Day 2021, we present a series of female hoteliers taking London’s hospitality industry by storm. From Anne Golden, General Manager of Pan Pacific London, Rachel Angell, COO of Domus Stay, to Siraj Singh of the Edwardian Hotels London empire and driving force behind The Londoner. There are some wonderful women powerhouses behind some of the most remarkable projects launching this year and beyond. We will spotlight their work and news on these milestone projects all set to launch in spring/summer 2021.
Siraj has a strong hospitality heritage with more than two decades in marketing. She is born into the family who own and operate the Edwardian Hotels London empire. Remarkably, she is now working to launch The Londoner hotel. After eight years and £300 million investment, The Londoner will shape the legacy of the West End. The Londoner will offer a luxury urban retreat in the heart of the capital’s film district when it opens this summer.
Designed by world-class Yabu Pushelberg with architecture by Woods Bagot, Siraj and Edwardian Hotels London have created this first-of-its-kind hotel. The Londoner spreads over 16 storeys and features 350 guest rooms, suites and a tower penthouse with panoramic views. It has two private screening rooms, a mix of six concept eateries – including bars and a tavern. There is an alfresco dining on the ground floor and a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit. An expansive ballroom suited for any occasion and a variety of meeting spaces are available for events. There is also a Retreat for wellbeing and healthy lifestyle.
