• Casinos in every entertainment complex or resort lobby,
• 24-hour services for almost everything,
• Exceptionally large convention spaces and meeting rooms ready for any size events,
• A fully animated Strip with neon signs …
Las Vegas, the new “City that never sleeps” is also the “City of many Cities”. You may have seen them all but join us on a journey to the Entertainment Capital of the World and discover a business-focused Las Vegas through our eyes.
When you arrive at McCarran International airport, Las Vegas does not give much away; but don’t be fooled, the acclaimed Entertainment Capital of the World will start to show its colours as soon as you start driving out of the airport. Talking about arrivals, do it in style and hire yourself a Chauffeur-driven Limo. That is the way to do it in Las Vegas even though the City is oozing with other transport means such as taxis, Uber and buses.
With its “casino infested” entertainment complexes and resorts, and richly illuminated neon signs, Las Vegas will certainly capture your attention. However, like so many seducers, this colourful City is complicated. It is on one part, a very successful business destination and home to three of the top ten largest convention centers in North America and on the other hand, the City with the most entertaining group activities in its square mile.
Vegas has a lot to offer both indoors and outdoors. It has casinos, exciting shows and wonderful dining experiences. Nature enthusiasts will also be thrilled to know that you can fly over the Grand Canyon from Vegas. This is the only destination where you can find yourself in Rome at Caesar’s Place and travel to Venice at the Venetian.
Vegas has its very own New York City. It is remarkable to see the replicas of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. You can even witness the New York Skyline. Wait till you hear that you can see the Sphinx of Egypt in front of the Luxor and when it comes to Paris, there is an Arc de Triomphe with Gordon Ramsay’s face on it!. I couldn’t work out why though, especially as there are so many famous French Chefs in Vegas. That aside, there is also a a well-lit Eifel Tower standing tall on the Strip with a ride and restaurant at the top of it. There are bits of many parts of the world in Vegas.

How do you do business with style in Vegas?
The choices are endless. The destination is multi-faceted with lots of activities to indulge in either day or night. All activities are suitable for both groups and individuals.
If you are hosting or planning an event, there is absolutely no need to panic or fret. Las Vegas has more than 11 million square feet of Convention space and for this, we are talking about a lot of space especially as the City welcomed more than 6.5million convention attendees in 2018. There is something about the City that makes you want to host an event there. Meetings alone support approximately 65,000 local jobs and there are nearly 22,000 happening yearly. They mean it when they say that “Vegas means Business”.
Let us imagine that, however tempting as it may sound, you are not heading to Vegas to get married. If that is the case, then you and your group are going to see Vegas in a different light and appreciate some of the best things that the City has to offer.
For me, the thrill started as soon as I checked into the palatial Palazzo. Palazzo has everything that you would expect to find in Vegas, especially when it comes to floor space. Like almost every resort in Vegas you will have to navigate your way past numerous game machines and a very large casino set up in order to get to your room but as soon as you get past these, you will find your sleeping quarters as desirable as ever with spacious bedrooms in immaculate settings.

Another thrilling experience is to go ziplining along the Strip with Fly Linq. It may look scary for the faint-hearted but the crew at Fly Linq are so good at making you feel so relaxed that even novices like myself managed a super-hero style ziplining experience.
Neon Museum – The Boneyard
This not for profit museum was founded in 1996 and is dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational. Historic, arts and cultural enrichment. The Neon Museum collection chronicles changes and trends in sign design and technology through pieces ranging from the 1930s to the present day. Each piece offers a unique story about the personalities who created it, what inspired it and where and when it was made, and the role it played in Las Vegas’ distinctive history.
Food and Drink in Las Vegas
Dining is one of the best assets of Vegas. The whole city is lined-up with a variety of eateries. The challenge will be whether you want to opt for fine-dining or casual dining. Here are a few suggestions for you to try out while in Las Vegas.
Sparrow and Wolf open 7 Days a week from 5pm to 11pm
There is more to Sparrow and Wolf than meets the eye. Apart from the portions, the food served is not purely American. It has quite an Asian influence, leaning towards Japanese, Chinese and European but especially made from Sparrow and Wolf.
Food made in Sparrow and Wolf is very special and generous but does not conform to tradition. Ideally, they are made for sharing. There is a twist with every meal. Be ready to enjoy a copious fine dining of tasty sharing selection of oysters, wood roasted lamb neck, steak tartare like you have never tasted before,
Brunch at Primrose Las Vegas
If you are keen on brunch, the Primrose at the Park MGM resort is the place to be. They believe that breakfast is better without a deadline and garden parties with bubbles are the best way to brunch. At Primrose, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink sparkling rosé and brunch every day until 5pm.
Lip Smacking Foodie Tour
Thanks to a 3-hour Lip Smacking Foodie Tour with our brilliant Guide Mary, we can also recommend the following restaurants in Las Vegas. We highly recommend the foodie tour which includes:

At Bardot Brasserie, Chef Michal Mina and his team will reintroduce you to classic French cuisine with a twist only Chef Michael Mina could bring. The menu features iconic French comfort food and an array of both New World and Old-World Wines. And by the way, there is “escargot” on the menu.
Julian Serrano Tapas at the ARIA
This is where small plates meet big flavours and you enjoy real Spanish cuisine. It is not always that you find authentic Spanish Tapas in Las Vegas and Chef Julian Serrano has created delectable interpretations of his native Spanish fare. Relish the comfort of Serrano ham alongside a creamy cheese platter.
Estiatorio Milos
The Estiaorio Milos at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was opened in 2010. It is one of North America’s finest Greek restaurants. Freshness is the keyword here. Milos has a long-standing reputation of serving the freshest and pristine seafood. Acclaimed chef and restaurateur Costas Spilladis is leading North America’s Hellenic food scene by introducing high-end food from the islands of Greece. Costas Spiliades and his team go to a tremendous effort to find the most delicious fish around the world.
Cucina by Wolfgang Puck
You will find Cucina by Wolfang Puck inside the shops at Crystal. The food is mainly Italian but for our tour, dessert was the focus and we were not disappointed.
Eataly at Park MGM
Eataly at Park MGM is the place to go for all food Italian. Eataly, an Italian marketplace created by Oscar Farinettiis delightful. I made it my favourite food shop because of the setting and things that you can do in it. Whether you are there to shop, eat or learn skills for cooking Italian food, you cannot get it wrong at Eataly Las Vegas. The bountiful stalls compliment each other with produces and skills. You can buy fresh bread, fresh meat and fish, wine and pasta, gelatos and many more; you cannot visit Eataly and not be tempted to eat happily. And if you really could not be bothered to cook,, there are 3 restaurants to provide you with good Italian food, namely, the formal style Manzo, La Cucina del Mercato, La Pizza & La Pasta.
Indoor Hiking at the Aria
After all the good food and drink, you might want to try some indoor hiking at the Aria. The team at the Aria Gym have designed a fitness hiking programme around the Aria to keep guests healthy. It is worth the effort.
