Things you need to know about the Jet Airways
It’s a 5th Anniversary celebration for Jet Airways, the only airline to fly to India with private suites in first class.
Birthday treat for passengers (correction – “guests”) aboard Jet Airways as it celebrates the fifth anniversary of its London operations on 23rd May 2010 with special in-flight birthday cake.

First and Première Class guests were served cake with champagne on the three Mumbai and Delhi flights departing ex London Heathrow, whilst Economy Class guests enjoyed mouth-watering Lily O'Briens chocolates, accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine. With suite doubling up as a one-to-one meeting room and offering a private dining experience guests are sure to enjoy their cake and champagne with the ultimate in luxury, comfort and privacy.

The airline whose inaugural London-Mumbai flight took to the skies on 23rd May 2005 onboard an Airbus 340 aircraft has attracted 1.1 million guests from London Heathrow, across all routes. India's premier airline has plenty to celebrate this year with the fifth anniversary, a stellar growth pattern across all sectors and a surge in front end traffic set to fuel further expansion in Europe.
The airline can say thank you to its guests – as it prefers to call its passengers, in style especially as it has sustained its seat factor for its international operations at over 75% reflecting continued high demand despite the turbulent economic climate.
Jet Airways flies daily to India from London Heathrow, with double daily flights to Mumbai and daily to Delhi, where it connects on to 44 other domestic destinations.
