disgo, a developer of consumer technology products for the gadget hungry consumer, has launched of its most advanced and feature rich tablet, the disgo 8400G. This will be the company’s first 3G-enabled tablet running the latest Android Software (v.4.1.2) and features a conveniently sized, yet high quality 7.9” high-resolution capacitive display. The disgo 8400G aims to bridge the gap between highly spec’d and affordable mobile functionality in the tablet market, at a registered retail price of just £149.99.

The compact disgo 8400G has several advanced features including a high quality HD display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. Its glass on glass screen ensures optimum brightness and contrast, allowing users to experience the best that Android Jellybean has to offer. Boasting the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor combined with 3G capabilities, users are given optimum processing performance, powerful multimedia and fantastic wireless connectivity. The Qualcomm Adreno 203 2D/3D Graphics core ensures gaming is truly brought to life and an expandable 4GB of onboard storage* lets users keep precious photos, videos and other memories with them wherever they go.

Luke Noonan, Purchasing Director at disgo, commented:
“We are proud to be launching a 7.9” 3G product with such fantastic functionality at a great price. The added benefit of 3G makes it an ideal product to use when on the move, letting users have continual access to content on the web. With the latest technology built in, it’s a really appealing mobile device too. Our experience continues to tell us that consumers are looking for a happy medium between cost and function and the obvious players in the 7” market are not always the most affordable choice. The 8400G happily bridges the gap between quality and price for a handy, smaller tablet.”

Other features include a 0.3MP front & 2.0MP rear facing cameras, great for Skype and snapping pictures on the move. Instant access to the Google Play Store and Google Apps ensures prompt purchase and enjoyment of Android games and apps, and with an impressive eight-hour battery life from the Li-ion battery, train journeys and commutes are sure to become boredom free.

Multitasking is easy with the disgo 8400G and with the addition of ‘Project Butter’, there is no lag and responsiveness is better than ever before. 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS capability mean there are new and powerful ways of communicating and sharing on the go and with stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone out and built in microphone, it’s ideal for watching videos and making calls.

The disgo 8400G is compatible with the majority of digital content including Flash 11.1, allowing viewers to enjoy streaming video. This conveniently sized tablet comes with the functionality desired by many including families, students and cash conscious consumers. However, it also has appeal for business users as it offers a cost effective and good size solution for working from home or on the move, particularly with the addition of 3G.
